Jamie Stelter is a journalist nominated for an Emmy, and an on-air traffic anchor for NY1 News in New York City. She studied at the University of Maryland and received her degree in 2003. She was born in Philadelphia.

Jamie began working as a traffic reporter for News 12 Westchester soon after receiving her degree, and eventually, she advanced to the position of reporter and producer.

After leaving the station in 2008, she worked as a traffic reporter for other news organizations, including WNBC and WTXF-FOX 29.

According to the New York Post, she started working at NY1 News in 2010 and quickly rose to the status of “local cult favorite.”

She also started writing a dating column for Complex magazine, where she discussed her encounters with love in New York.

Brian Stelter Is Leaving CNN

CNN announced that Brian would be departing the network, unreliable sources. The program’s cancellation comes after Chris Licht, CNN’s new chairman, informed staff members that the network’s programming was being “retooled.”

The final episode will air on August 24, 2022, and Brian will leave the channel.  According to a CNN representative, “We value Brian’s services to the network and wish him well as he embarks on other projects,” as quoted in The New York Times.

In a statement, Amy Entelis, executive vice president for talent and program development at CNN, described Brian as “an immaculate broadcaster” who is departing the network.

Stelter began working as a media writer for The New York Times in July 2007, following his graduation from college in May 2007.
