David Raum Lightning Bolt Neck Tattoo Means Victory

David Raum has a lightning bolt tattoo on his neck that has a symbolic meaning of victory.

The lightning bolt tattoo has many interpretations throughout history, but the real meaning is they are the Schutzstaffel symbols. The Schutzstaffel symbols are two S, "SS," written like lightning bolts, representing the two initial 'S' of the word itself.

Raum ends his caption with the emoji ⚡️ when his team wins a game or when he has to flaunt his triumphs. Like when he left Hoffenheim for Leipzig this summer, he posted a lengthy article thanking his former team, teammates, and fans. And at the end of the caption, he added the lightning emoji.

Moreover, the lightning symbol is similar to that of the comic book character Flash from DC comics. Barry Allen uses the identical logo as his trademark for the lightning power he generates every time he travels at the speed of light.

In the modern world, the lightning bolt symbol is mainly used as a logo for many different reasons, such as a protest in politics and pop culture, and sometimes they are used by commercial brands in their trademark logo.

Fans of David Raum do not think he should have a lightning bolt tattoo on his neck as he is German.

In the past, the lightning bolt symbol was heavily connected to Hitler and Nazism. However, he got inked on his neck to symbolize victory and power.

The two "SS" in the Schutzstaffel symbol was initially meant to symbolize victory and triumph before Hitler stole it and used it as his party Nazis prominent symbol alongside the Swastika.

After that, people started associating the lightning bolt emblem with Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, and anytime they saw something resembling it, they instinctively thought of him.
