Cincinnati TE Devin Asiasi Parents Malia Pita-Mapa And Dave Asiasi

Devin Asiasi parents Malia Pita-Mapa and Dave Asiasi are of Polynesian descent. Devin made his UCLA Bruins debut in 2018.

Devin is a twenty-five-year-old American football player for the Cincinnati Bengals of the National Football League. He also played college football at the University of California (UCLA). In 2020, Devin was drafted in the third round by New England Patriots for NFL Draft. 

Asiasi was born in San Mateo, California, and he was raised in Shoreview Community. He has also played high school football at De La Salle High School, where he played both offense and defense.

Malia currently lives in San Mateo, California. She attended Aragon High school in San Mateo. She has worked in Research and Development at Johnson & Johnson, Menlo Park, California. On April 21st, 2011, she got married to Blaine Mapa. Pita Mapa has three sisters: Tfineanganofo Anafeo Pita, Halamako Lavaki, and Susie Bansuelo.

Dave Asiasi was born in Pago Pago, the capital of American Samoa, on June 1st of, 1971. Dave considers him to be an island boy. He currently lives in Pittsburg, California. His alma mater is Menlo College. He is currently married to Nettie Lennon.

Devin stayed with Dave during his high school days and during weekends and major holidays, so Devin could attend De La Salle; he stayed with Malia. Dave and Malia split when he was just three years old.

Devin Asiasi Siblings

Devin Asiasi has six siblings, three half-sisters, and three half-brothers from both Dave’s and Malia’s sides.

His three brothers are Simon Robert Mapa, DJ Asiasi, and Bubba Asiasi. And his three sisters are Arline Savannah Mapa, Nevaeh Asiasi, and Nyana Asiasi. 
Nevaeh plays basketball for Cal State LA Women’s Basketball. She won the 2021-2022 California Interscholastic Federation State Championship for Divison I Girls Championship.

Like Nevaeh, Nyana also plays basketball. After Nevaeh won her state championship, Nyana took to Instagram to write a lengthy post dedicated to her. In the post, Nyana cited Nevaeh as her biggest inspiration, first teammate, trainer, and best friend. She added that it was a privilege to have Nevaeh as a teammate and watch her play, and it was a flex to have her as an older sister.

Nevaeh attended Salesian College Preparatory High School in Richmond, California. She graduated in 2022. As per Max Preps, her overall California ranking is five. Nyana also attends the same high school as her sister and will graduate in 2023. She plays as a small forward and a power forward in her high school team.

DJ Asiasi also plays American football like Devin. He attends De La Salla High School, where he plays tight and defensive ends. On December 17th and 18th of 2022, he traveled to San Francisco, CA, for a two-day Quarterback, Wide Receiver, and Tight end training camp. He will graduate high school in 2025. DJ’s overall California ranking as per Max Preps is seventeen.
