Elena Ilinykh Boyfriend Sergei Polunin Is A Ballet Dancer And Model

Elena Ilinykh and her boyfriend Sergei Polunin have been dating for three years since 2019.

The ice dancer and Sergei had their first encounter in 2018 when Elena attended the theatre show "Dancer." Sergei was the main orchestrator for the film and was impressed by the work, and she hailed him on social media.

In return, the ballet dancer offered Elena a role in his next production, "Rasputin." The drama had its world premiere in May 2019.

They both performed well in the show, and shortly after the premiere, the pair began dating. Everything happened so fast that they announced their engagement a few months after dating and started living under the same roof. Their blissful relationship gave birth to two wonderful kids. 

Both are sons, and the first one, Mir, was born on January 16, 2020, when they were in Miami, Florida. Mir is a Russian word that translates to "Peace" in English. Likewise, they welcomed their second baby boy in April 2022 and named him Dar.

In December 2020, the family went to the Maldives, where the three enjoyed the country's small islands. Similarly, Elena and her partner were in Alaska in March of 2021. They had a lot of fun ice skating.

Similarly, the small family of three had a great time relishing the sun on the beach and swimming at the resort near Mauritius, Indian Ocean, Africa, in September 2021.

Recently on December 15, 2022, Elena shared snippets from the family visit to Crocus City Hall, where she had a lot of fun spending time with the two pieces of her heart, Mir and Dar, in a neon blue light environment.

At the start of this year, Elena, already pregnant with another baby, journeyed to Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, in UAE.

Prior to dating the danseur, she dated her stage partner Nikita Katsalapov. They together won the gold medal in the 2014 Sochi Olympics. However, the Russians revealed their breakup in an interview with R-Sport, a few weeks after becoming the gold medalist. After that, she went to the USA and spent some time there before returning to Russia.

Sergei is a famous and talented Russian ballet dancer, model, and actor.

Born in Kherson in Ukraine during the Soviet era on November 20, 1989, Polunin possesses the citizenship of several European countries, including Russian, Ukrainian, and Serbian. 

At the age of eight, Sergei joined the Kyiv State Choreographic Institute. By 13, he had already got an enrollment at the British Royal Ballet School in 2003.

With his charm and skill, it did not take Polunin long to be one of the top danseur n the country. At 20, Sergei became the newest male leading dancer in the history of the Royal Ballet in 2010. 

Following his exit from ballet, he focused more on freelance dancing. Sergei made names on national and international stages as he began performing on different platforms across the globe.

Along with that, he bagged many awards and accolades, such as "The critics' Circle National Dance Awards for Best Male Dancer" in 2010 and the Soul of Dance award (2014) are a few of the many he achieved.

Sergei founded his own ballet company Polunin Ink in 2018, and it produced some classics such as Rasputin, Romeo and Juliet, and Little Red and the Wolf in 2019.

The 33-year-old expressed his admiration for Vladimir Putin in a post on his Instagram account in November 2018. Sergei posted on Instagram again in December 2018 to show his appreciation and support for American president Donald Trump.

People on the internet highly criticized him when he uploaded a picture of his upper topless body showing all the tattoos he had inked on his body.

Vladimir Putin's three large faces, one on his chest in the center and two on either side of his shoulders, became less concerning when internet users discovered a sun tattoo on his stomach utilized by the #Nazi army.
