George Clarke is an English architect, television presenter, educator, and writer best known for his work on the Channel 4 shows The Home Show and The Property Show.

Clarke served on the judging panel for the 2007 Affordable Home Ownership Housing Awards.

George Clarke is suffering from muscular dystrophy which is an incurable disease.

One of his friends reported his health status in 2021. While discussing this subject, he burst into tears.

Muscular dystrophy is a category of disorders that cause gradual muscular weakness and loss.

In muscular dystrophy, faulty genes disrupt the creation of proteins required for the formation of healthy muscle.

Is George Clarke Cured Of The Disease?

As the disease is incurable we guess he is not cured yet.

George does not particularly talk about his illness that much. So there are not much updates about his job.

Clarke was born in Sunderland and raised in the neighbouring town of Washington.

Clarke’s grandfathers were both builders, and after spending his school holidays on and around construction sites, he decided at the age of 12 that he wanted to be an architect.

Clarke dropped out of high school at the age of 16 and went to work for a local architectural firm, David W. Johnson.

When George Clarke was doing remodeling work for her brother, he met his first wife, Catriona, a Spanish national. The pair was married for over ten years and had three children before splitting and divorcing in 2013.

Clarke later married Katie Morgan Jones in 2018, however the couple reportedly divorced in 2022.

He still has family in Blackfell, Washington, and Sunderland, and he returns at least twice a year.
