Jett Cleary’s father, Ivan Cleary, is a former professional rugby league football player who played fullback and center in the 1990s and 2000s.

Cleary was a goal-kicking fullback who played club football in Australia and New Zealand. During the 1998 NRL Premiership, he set a new record for the most points ever scored.

Currently, he is the head coach of the NRL’s Penrith Panthers. He guided the Panthers to the 2021 National Rugby League premiership. He previously served as the head coach of the Wests Tigers and the New Zealand Warriors.

He had always performed well in league matches, but his recent games with his current teams are worth mentioning as they were incredible and are admired by the opponents.
