Anthony Albanese is also called Albo, and Jodie Haydon is not his wife. They were the first couples to enter the prime minister’s home without being married.

Mr. Albanese was previously married for 19 years to NSW deputy premier Carmel Tebbutt, with whom he had a 21-year-old son, Nathan.

Ms. Haydon has never been married or had children was indicated she was not looking for a relationship but discovered she had grown to love Albanese after he was killed in a car accident in January 2021.
