At the Olympic Regatta Center in Munich, Redgrave's boat triumphed over Romania, Italy, France, and Spain in 7:11.95, by crossing the finish line.

The quartet managed some windy German conditions and thought they were peaking just in time for this weekend's competition. After her performance on the first day, Redgrave has a good chance of winning one of the 177 gold medals available.

GB rowing athlete Samantha Redgrave is widely known. Redgrave was born on August 18, 1994, in Gateshead, Great Britain, yet there isn't much information online about her family.
