Jeremy Sarmiento Sister Charleze Sarmiento As A Tight Knit Family Unit

Ecuadorian footballer Jeremy Sarmiento has a 14-year-old sister named, Charleze Sarmiento. His family resides in London, England.

Sarmiento is a football winger for the Ecuadorian national team and Premier League Club Brighton & Hove Albion. Although, he was born in Spain to Ecuadorian parents. He played for England at the youth international level before making his senior Ecuador debut in October 2021.

In October 2021, Sarmiento received his first call-up to the Ecuadorian national team for games against Bolivia, Venezuela, and Colombia that was part of the 2022 World Cup qualifying process.  He made his debut in a 3-0 victory over Bolivia.

Along with fellow Brighton colleagues Pervis Estupian and Moisés Caicedo, Sarmiento was nominated to Ecuador’s 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He was most recently featured in Ecuador’s opening game victory against Qatar on November 20, 2022.

Jeremy Sarmiento has a young sister, Charleze Sarmiento in the name of a sibling. 

His sister is 14 years old, born on July 7, 2008, in England. While the soccer star is in his early twenties.

The Ecuador soccer star has shared multiple photos of his family on his Instagram, and many of them are with his sister. One of the infamous photos of the midfielder with his sister was at the time when he first signed for Brighton FC. 

A year ago in the January transfer window, Sarmiento had signed a five-year deal with the English Premier side. His contract expires on June 30, 2026. Following the special occasion, Jeremy posted a photo of him holding Brighton’s shirt alongside his mother and sister.

Similarly, in September 2022, the midfielder shared a family photo of him during his vacation at the Los Amos. He was seen carrying his sister, and in the caption, he stated that his family is his motivation.

Charleze’s Instagram account is getting noticed in recent years. She has shared many photos of her modeling times, from doing ramp walks to traveling to beaches. Her handle is @_.charlizemorante, and she has a total of 3,963 followers.

According to her Instagram bio, Charleze is of mixed heritage. She is of Portuguese-Ecuadorian descent, being born in England. As a result, she is fluent in four different languages.

The Sarmiento children spent their time in Madrid, Spain, before moving to Great Britain. As a result, both Jeremy and his sister grew up as a Barcelona fans.

The Sarmiento family now have settled in London, England, from where Jeremy started his youth career. Sarmiento signed for the academy of Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion on July 2, 2021

On September 22, he made his professional debut, replacing an injured Alexis Mac Allister in the 69th minute of his team’s 2-0 win over Swansea City at home in the third round of the EFL Cup.

Besides his sister, he is very dear to his mom Katty Morante, and father, Lionel Holger.

One of the videos shared by Katty Morante is of her daughter, where Charleze is singing the cover of the English song Creep with her band at The Music Grammar School. In some more covers, she sang Coldplay’s Yellow.

According to the Daily Mail, Jeremy Sarmiento almost gave up on football last year after being banished from Benfica’s academy. However, he buckled down and signed a contract with Brighton, thanks to his father.

In reality, Sarmiento’s father, Leonel, has always had a positive influence on his professional life. His son was born in Madrid in 2002 and later moved to London with his mother Katty when he was seven years old due to his employment search in Europe.

Sarmiento admits:: “My dad was the one that made me get through it. It has paid off, all the hard work.”
