Jerod Mayo Has A Beautiful Family With Wife Chantel Mayo

Jerod Mayo and Chantel Mayo married in 2012 after having met through mutual friends.

Jerod's former teammate Ellis Hobbs introduced him to Chantel. At the time, Chantel was the stylist for Ellis and his wife, Brenda. Jerod came looking to do his braids and then began the romantic journey of the two. 

Chantel revealed the tale in the video posted by New England Patriots on their YouTube channel in 2022. In an Instagram post shared by Chantel on February 24, 2020, the day of Jerod's birthday, the entrepreneur wrote, "13 birthdays together", indicating that the couple has been together since 2007. 

Fifteen years of being together and ten years of being married, and the relationship between the two has looked perfect since day one. Raising four kids and having hectic working schedules can easily take a toll on a couple's married life, but Mr and Mrs Mayo have navigated through all the hurdles together. 

After being one of the decorated New England Patriots players, Jerod decided to become an inside linebackers coach for them. His better half, Chantel, is a multi-faceted woman running three brands. 

Who Is Chantel Mayo?

Chantel Mayo is the owner and designer of the children's clothing store, The Brand Finale and is also a wedding event and floral designer.

She runs the event planning company CM Creative Experience. It doesn't end here. Chantel hasn't forgotten about the business that helped her meet her partner. 

Chantel is a multi-brand company owner and heads the company, Hair Bae, which sells hair products. In 2021, Chantel from the company's Instagram handle revealed that they had opened their headquarters. Despite being overly busy, Jerod and Chantel always make time for each other.

In 2019, the pair had a little bonding time away from their four kids as they traveled to Jerusalem with the New England Patriots team. Chantel has attended several events and awards ceremonies with her hubby, who has become a big-time coach. 

The former player-turned-coach has supported his wife in her endeavors and was seen walking a fashion show in 2017. Jerod was part of the BMC Cancer Care Fashion Show, for which his partner was the stylist. Not only did they look gorgeous together, but they were also part of a charitable cause.

There's no doubt that the couple has many more beautiful memories to make together as they continue to support each other not only as husband and wife but also as working partners.

Jerod is a doting father to three daughters, Chya Mayo, Chyanne Mayo, and Chylo Mayo, and son Jerod Mayo Jr. All of his kids already have a separate Instagram handle where they share their interests and hobbies. 

Chya Mayo

Jerod Mayo eldest daughter Chya Mayo was born on July 20, 2010. The 12-year-old is one of the kids' models for her mother's brand, The Brand Finale and also shares a passion for dancing. 

In 2019, Chya shared a photo from one of her competitive dancing tournaments, where she was seen doing acrobatic dance moves. The oldest child of the former football player is already familiar with some of her dad's teammates. 

Chya shared a congratulatory post for the former NFL player Rob Gronkowski after he announced his retirement and said she would beat him in a dance contest. Maybe it comes as an instinct being the oldest of the bunch, Chya can be seen looking after her younger siblings.

Jerod Mayo Jr

The only son of Jerod and Chantel, Jerod Mayo Jr, was born on the same date as his older sister, a year later. The 11-year-old is available on Instagram with the username @jerodmayojr.

Like any kid of his age, he loves playing the game Fortnite. Jerod has also shown interest in baseball and posted a video of him playing the sport on his Instagram handle. In 2020, Jerod shared an Instagram post of him and his son sitting together in large 'white chairs as he captioned the post, "One day he will follow my example, not my advice."

It is to be whether Mayo Jr will turn towards NFL or make his name in other sports or even not play sports at all and choose a different career path altogether. 

Chyanne Mayo

Chyanne Mayo, age 8, was born on September 17, 2014. The little girl of Jerod and Chantel describes herself as a fashionista, model, dancer and gymnast. Quite multitalented like her mother. 

Chyanne showed her cheerleading skills in a video posted in 2019 with her mother encouraging her as she recorded the clip. Chyanne, like her sister, is one of the models for her mother's brand and also makes sure to attend her sister's dance recital with her parents. 

She is available on Instagram with the username @yanmayo, where she shows her dancing skills and stylish looks.

Chylo Mayo

Chylo Mayo, age 5, is the youngest child of Jerod and Chantel. She was born on December 25, 2017, because of which her middle name is Christmas. 

On her fifth birthday, Chantel shared a sweet tribute for her youngest child and posted a galley of images consisting of images from when she was born till the present day. The Christmas baby, Chylo, was seen on an Instagram video that her siblings recorded with her in 2020. 

All four children of Jerod and Chantel were seen cooking Christmas breakfast, with Chya leading the way for her siblings. 

Jerod Mayo has been raising his family of six in Massachusetts. Mayo has not been shy when sharing his kids moments on his social media pages.

From an outsider's point of view, the Mayo family certainly look nothing short of being a happy household of six. Chantel and Jerod have helped their children find their passion at a young age and have made them grow into confident individuals.

Halloween Is An Important Occasion For The Mayos

Halloween is the favorite festivities for NFL coach Jerod Mayo's family. They always seem to go over the top for the spooky festival. 

In 2018, Chantel and Jerod, with their four children, dressed up as mummies. It was their daughter, Chylo's first Halloween and they certainly made it memorable for the one-year-old.

For 2019, they paid homage to the American hip-hop dance group The Jabbawockeez as Jerod and Chantel shared the photos on their respective Instagram handle.

For 2020, the Mayo's decided to pay tribute to the Jackson family and once again won the hearts of the fans with their annual Halloween tradition. For the past two years, they haven't shared their Halloween looks and have probably decided to keep it more of a personal thing.

Christmas Is For Bonding

Chantel never misses sharing the Christmas photos of the Mayo family. She keeps her fans updated with all their events on her Instagram handle.

Whether it is International Women's Day, Mother's or Father's Day, Chantel makes sure to include her loved ones in all those events. 

Being two working parents, sometime it must be hard for Chantel and Jerod to manage time for their little ones. The festivities such as Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter allow them to spend time together and know what everyone has been up to.

The Mayo family might have new beginnings in a different state this year, with the rumors of Jerod heading to the Cleveland Browns building up. Until then, all six of them will want to enjoy their time in Massachusetts, the place where they met and raised all their children.
