Lady Jane Cecil is the third wife of late horse trainer Sir Henry Cecil. In 2008, the couple married. Henry was a frequent patient with stomach cancer who died at a Cambridge hospital.

On January 11, 1943, ten minutes before his twin brother David, Henry Cecil was born at a hospital outside Aberdeen. Cecil's father, Lt. Hon. Henry Kerr Auchmuty Cecil, the third Lord Amherst of Hackney's younger brother, was killed in action while fighting with the Parachute Regiment in North Africa before his birth. On June 11, 2013, the horse trainer died in Cambridge, England.

Sir Henry Richard Amherst Cecil was a very successful British flat racing horse trainer, becoming Champion Trainer 10 times and training 25 domestic Classic wins.

Because of his successes in the 1000 Guineas and Oaks, he became renowned for his ability with fillies. He was well-known for training 75 winners at Royal Ascot.

Lady Jane Cecil is mainly known as the widow of the late horse trainer Sir Henry Cecil. Jane's net worth is yet to be revealed as of now. However, it is assumed that Jane's total income is between $1 million and $5 million. Jane took a training license after her husband's death.

She is taking Henry's legacy further and is searching for the ideal nonprofit endeavor associated with racing that may someday bear Cecil's name. Life continues, she explains. "I'm quite fortunate; I have relatives and everything. But I never stop missing him."

As stated by Cecil in a statement posted on the Warren Place website, "Training, for me, has consistently been about working with the horses and the crew here at Warren Place." "That is one of the main reasons I have kept going after Henry passed away two years ago."

Sir Henry Cecil's widow has declared that she will retire from racing after the Flat season and sell the family house in Newmarket. According to The Racing Post, Sheikh Mohammed is apparently in the midst of purchasing Warren Place and will appoint a new trainer there.

Roses were one of the passions of the great Sir Henry Cecil.

Lady Cecil, 58, has trained more than 60 winners, including Noble Mission in the Champion Stakes at Ascot in October 2014. Lady Cecil's exploits as a trainer included three Group I victories with Noble Mission in the Tattersalls Gold Cup, Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud, and Qipco Champion Stakes.

Working with the horses and the Warren Place crew has always been essential to my training. Lady Cecil stated, "Since Henry died two years ago, that has been a significant reason I have continued going." She expressed gratitude to her owners for their continuous care and assistance.

According to the woman who began training after her husband died two years ago in 2013, the executors of Henry Cecil's estate's choice to sell the Warren Place property, from which the stable has been located in England, accords with Lady Cecil's desire.
