Soon after earning her degree, she founded Art-Z Graphics, a flourishing photographic and graphics business that has been doing business with the federal government for more than 30 years.

When she was just a kid, she, along with her three siblings and mother, had to flee their house because her father threatened to kill everyone with a kitchen knife.
Then she started to take in animals who were sick and wounded. Laurie had promised her mother to buy a large property for the farm. Sadly she died at the age of 52 because of unknown reasons.
