Marcell Ozuna, a hitter for the Atlanta Braves, was detained for DUI early Friday morning in Gwinnett County. Reddit was the first place to report Ozuna's arrest.

Later, CBS46 in Atlanta verified the arrest. Ozuna was jailed at 4:39 in the morning on Friday and freed on bond at 8:12 on the same day.

Ozuna has been detained for the second time in a row this season. When he was imprisoned for spousal abuse against his partner last May and initially charged with felony abuse by strangulation, he was on the Injured List.

Later, Ozuna participated in a diversionary program and was subject to a 20-game MLB suspension.

He played for the GCL Marlins in 2009 and hit.313 with five home runs and 39 RBIs in 55 games. With the Class A South Atlantic League's Greensboro Grasshoppers to start 2010, Ozuna was sidelined after six appearances due to a wrist injury.

He concluded the season in Jamestown when he returned there in June with Short Season. He played in 74 games, batting 258 with 22 home runs and 62 RBIs.
