Chanel Terrero Martínez, known as Chanel is a Cuban-Spanish dancer, actress, and singer who is ready to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
Chanel will be singing her debut single “SloMo” in the final at Eurovision Song Contest 2022. It is set to take place on 14 May 2022, Saturday at 21:00 (CEST).

Chanel Terrero Martínez Mental Health Battle- Who Is She?
Chanel Terrero Martínez is said to be suffering a mental battle. “Sometimes I woke up crying. I realized how important mental health is,” said Chanel.
From a young Chanel has taken singing, acting, and ballet classes. She started her career in musical theatre at the age of 16 according to her Wikipedia page.
Chanel moved to Madrid to start her acting career. She then participated in stage musicals such as Mamma Mia!, Flashdance, El guardaespaldas and El rey león during the 2010s.
Her acting profession includes diverse roles in television and movies, both nationally and internationally.
As a dancer, Chanel has worked with various artists. She was part of danced Shakira’s performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards in 2010.
The artist participated in Benidorm Fest in 2022 with her debut single “SloMo” and won the final becoming the Spanish participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
Chanel Terrero Martínez Family Background
Chanel Terrero Martínez’s part of her family belongs of Spanish origin from Catalonia. The artist was born in Havana, Cuba to her parents Marlene Martinez and Alain Terrero.
But at the age of 3, Chanel and her family moved to Olesa de Montserrat, Barcelona. “My mother is a social worker but she is so funny and witty that she could have made a living as a stand-up comedian,” says Chanel.
According to Spainnews, Chanel’s father, Alain Terrero, resides in Figueres, where he rebuilt his life. Her mother, Marlene Martinez, fell in love with Catalan Toni Cuadrado, the father of her two younger sisters.
“Fortunately, we are all very close and support me unconditionally. My biological father even came to see me in Benidorm,” says the artist.
