Matt Rhule Son Bryant Rhule Is The Eldest Child Of The Nebraska Coach

Matt Rhule son, Bryant Rhule, is the firstborn child with his wife, Julie Rhule. He was born in 2005 in Asheville.

Anyone familiar with his dad, the NFL coach, Matt, knows that Bryant was a Little League baseball player growing up in New York City.

He participated in and played for the Taney Youth Baseball Association. Before taking over as Baylor University’sUniversity’s coach in 2017, his father coached him and the young Taney team. Therefore, the younger Rhule will pursue a baseball career shortly.

On September 10, 2019, Matt posted a photo of young Bryant running out during the game day. To which, the proud father wrote: “Lil Bry running out on Gameday!” Similarly, there are also pictures of the father-son duo enjoying different other sort of sports like golf.

In April 2021, they went fishing with Jimmy Johnson, a former NFL coach. All three of them discuss football for almost six hours.

Bryant motivated his dad to join Carolina Panthers. The young lad supported the team and wanted his dad to coach them. In the end, Matt agreed and stayed with the Panthers from 2020 to 2022.

Bryant also has a similar love for Taney Dragons and has been a massive fan since he was young. He also frequently went to the World Series every year with his grandparents.

Bryant is very kind to his two younger sisters. He is very responsible and often visits his grandparents, Dennis and Gloria Rhule. Sadly in 2012, he lost his maternal grandma, Donna Nibert, who passed away from breast cancer. The young child was deeply affected by her loss.

Matt Rhule has two daughters, Vivienne and Leona Rhule. His two girls are nine and seven years old, respectively.

Matt and his partner, Julie, were curious if they could have more biological children after the birth of their first child. So the couple was delighted when Julie became pregnant with their second child.

Vivienne Blake Rhule, Matt Rhule’s daughter, was born in March 2013. She arrived a month before the scheduled delivery. Even so, her parents were overjoyed, and the NFL coach immediately tweeted the good news. Then, Matt was serving as the head coach of Temple.

Vivienne, like her brother, is also interested in sports. She played in the first year of Tee Ball in 2016. As per a Tweet, Vivienne is a big fan of Baylor Women’s Basketball. 

Rhule’s youngest child, Leona Rhule, was born in 2015. She is the most loved person in the home.

Leona and her sister can be seen posing in their jerseys on her dad’s social media post. They are supporters of the Baylor Bears basketball team. Similarly, Matt’s Instagram photos have suggested that his daughters are also interested in ballet.

In one of the photos, Leona appeared in a photo with the sign for Jami Masters School of Dance and most likely took classes there.

Despite being one of the busiest coaches, Matt Rhule always makes time for his family.

All of Matt Rhule’s kids are developing and pursuing various hobbies. As a dad, he frequently brings his kids along on his trips, press appearances, and sporting events since he is so proud of them. The coach’s children share the same and enthusiastically support his career.

On July 11, 2019, Matt shared a picture of him teaching his children to play the mini-golf. They were enjoying their summer vacation in Cape May, New Jersey. Before this, the family had also enjoyed their time in California. 

On November 26, 2022, Nebraska signed Matt Rhule to an 8-year deal as football coach. His family members received a warm welcome from Nebraska’sNebraska’s athletic director Trev Alberts.
