Darts Star Michael Smith Family Life With Kids Michael Jr And Kasper

Michael Smith has two kids Michael Jr and Kasper Smith who are huge supporters of the rugby team St Helens.

Michael and Dagmara are parents to two lovely boys, the oldest being eight years old and the youngest five. On his Instagram handle, Micahel constantly updates his fans with wholesome content about his two boys.

1. Michael Jr Smith

Michael Jr Smith, age 8, is the firstborn of Michael and Dagmara. Like his father, Michael Jr is a football and rugby fanatic.

The little one is already making his mark on the latter sport as he won a consecutive player of the year title on November 22, 2022. 

The proud father, Michael, shared the news on his Instagram handle and posted the photo of his son alongside his coaches holding his precious trophy. The father-son duo are massive supporters of the rugby team St Helens.

The duo are seen attending the games of 17-time champions, and Michael Jr was also seen clicking photos with the Saints mascot. In his spare time, Michael takes his sons fishing with Michael sharing the picture of their large catch on his Instagram handle.

2. Kasper Smith

Kasper Smith, age 5, was born on September 18, 2022. Like his father and older brother, Kasper is a huge St Helens fan.

And though he might be a British lad, Kasper is a supporter of the New Zealand rugby team.

Michael shared a sweet tribute on his son’s fifth birthday with a gallery of images, including their trip to Auckland, New Zealand. Kasper and his brother posed for a photo with the Auckland Sky Tower in the background. 

Though born in Merseyside, Michael and his two boys are supporters of Manchester United. Michael Jr is also a big of United’s midfielder Donny Van de Beek. He shared the video of his son cheering for the club as they visited Old Trafford in October 2022.

Michael Smith parents Ian Smith and Sandra Woods are natives of Merseyside.

The darts champion, Michael, grew up alongside his siblings in St. Helens. Though they are fairly away from the public limelight, Ian and Sandra can be seen sharing Michael’s triumphs on their Facebook handle. 

The native of Merseyside, Ian, is an Everton fan, which makes it clear why Michael is a huge Manchester United supporter. Ian is not much active on his Facebook handle but has previously tagged his daughter-in-law Dagmara Smith on a picture of a bride in 2018.

The father of the darts player seems to be hinting to his daughter-in-law that this could be an omen that she might soon tie the knot with his son. Dagmara went on to marry Michael a year later. In 2022, Ian and Sandara took a trip with their son to the US, with Sandra sharing a large chunk of their experience on her social media handle.

Unlike her husband, Sandra is quite active on her Facebook handle. Woods is not only a supportive mother but also a supportive grandmother. Since their younger days, his mother has shared several photos of her grandchildren and some of her trips with her friends.

On March 27, 2022, Sandra shared the photo of her grandson Michael Jr winning the man of the match trophy on her social media page, and this is one of many snaps that the proud grandmother has shared with her friends.

It’s not hard to imagine that Sandra and Ian must be on cloud nine seeing their son become the World Champion. A few hours after Michael’s victory, Sandra shared the photo of him and Ian holding the coveted trophy. 

Michael Smith was born into a British family with great affection for sports especially rugby and football.

Born to Ian Smith and Sandra Woods, Michael’s love for darts began at an early age. But we might have never seen his talent on an international level if he had continued his joinery course, which he had taken up in his college days.

Michael grew up alongside his siblings in St Helens, where his darts journey began. In 2019, the darts player tied the knot with his longtime partner Dagmara Smith. But even before they married in February 2019, the couple were already parents to a couple of boys-Michael Smith Jr and Kasper Smith.

In 2022, Michael and his wife with their two boys took a family trip to Australia and New Zealand. Along with relaxing on the beach, Michael and Dagmara took the kid out in the wild to spend some time with kangaroos and koalas.

Recently the Smiths took a trip to Arley Hall and Gardens for the festive seasons. The boys seemed to have enjoyed the outing as they posed in front of the sign, which was the entrance to The Harry Potter, A Forbidden Forest Experience.

The darts player seemed to have invested in some horse racing business as well as he shared a photo of a horse and said he looked strong and well. Michael and his boys are regular at the Preston North End Stadium, and Michael Jr once even received the Preston player Patrick Bauer match shirt.

The darts player had temporarily banned his family from attending his games. But he had lifted the ban so they could see him play in the finals. And oh boy! how glad he must be that he took that step. 

Seeing their father being crowned as the World Darts champion must have been a surreal experience for Michael Jr and Kasper, a memory they will cherish forever.
