As per his mother, Shawn was good and straight and she doesn’t believe that he snuck out of the house on January 15, 1986. She tugged him to bed on the night of January 15 and when she woke up, the 14-year-old wasn’t in his room.
As a result, she sent her other sons to search for him until she got a call from school that Shawn’s body was discovered. His body was still fresh as the blood wasn’t totally clotted. It was found by a custodian of Middletown High School.
