Bilqis Prasista, age 19, was born to Indonesian badminton legends on 24 March 2003. Prasista joined Indonesia's national badminton team in 2020. 

She joined Djarum Badminton Club at an early age at the behest of her parents.

At the Bangkok's Impact Arena, Prasista shocked everyone as she made her mark early, leaving no chance for Yamaguchi to score. Her quick thinking and lethal shot gave her a four-point lead in the first game.

In the second game, the world's No. 1 racked up a six-point lead before Bilqis leveled the scores before inching up. Soon enough, the victory was hers to grab.

Bilqis Prasista was born to parents Zelin Resiana and Joko Suprianto in the year 2003. 

Joko Suprianto, age 56, is a former badminton player of Indonesia who was counted among the world's leading men's singles players from the early 1900s to the mid-1990s.

Her father became world champion in men's singles at the 1993 IBF World Championships. 

Suprianto qualified to play at the 1996 Summer Olympics in men's singles. In September 1996, Joko slid to the top spot in the men's singles world.

Bilqis Prasista's mother, Zelin Resiana, is a former Indonesian women's double badminton player. Her parents had her almost fours after they married in 1999. 

It is hard to tell whether Bilqis Prasista finally decided to create an Instagram account after winning at the Bangkok's Impact Arena on Wednesday. 

Multiple fake accounts have been created under her name, and it is hard to identify if any one of them is the real one without the help of the blue verified badge. 

A new Instagram account was created yesterday under the handle @bilqisprasistaa, which has already managed to rack up 1.3K followers quickly. It has five posts, all dealing with her win over Akane Yamaguchi.
