Who Are Maya Brady's Parents? Meet Her Mother Maureen & Father Brian Timmons
Maya Brady was born in the scorching heat of California to parents Maureen Brady and Brian Timmons. Her mother pitched for Fresno State and was an All-American pitcher.
Brian Timmons was a mechanical retailer in the mid-1900s, but he was most recently identified as a researcher affiliated with McMaster University. It is unknown if he left his work as a researcher and pursued some other vocation.
From 1988 to 1991, Maureen Brady was a four-year starter for her Hillsdale High School team, the Knights. Maya's mother set a state record during her high school playing career with a 111-10 career record that is still among the best in the state.
Maureen Brady set the standard for softball pitchers in San Mateo County, and on June 9, 1999, she was inducted into the Sports Hall of Fame of San Mateo County.
While at her high school, Maureen was a US Junior Olympic Team member. In 2009, she returned to her former high school to coach the Knights softball team for three years.
On August 7th, 2010, Maya's parents divorced, after which she lived with her mother.
The UCLA softball player is the niece of NFL quarterback Tom Brady and MLB pitcher Kevin Youkilis.
