Solo Sikoa Father Rikishi Was A Samoan Wrestler Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame

Solo Sikoa credits his father Rikishi for his career as he was a wrestler for three decades. Sikoa and his father have origins in American Samoa.

Sikoa’s father was born into the Anoa’i family of professional wrestlers with origin in American Samoa. Born into a family of Samoan wrestlers, he grew interested in wrestling from a young age. His father, older brothers, and cousin have given a try in the field of wrestling.

Currently, he is associated with SmackDown under the ring name Solo Sikoa. He is also known as Sefa Fatu in the wrestling ring. His father named him Joseph Yokozuna Fatu at birth in 1993.

Apart from that, he played professional football in America River College during his college life. After completing college, he left playing football to pursue his wrestling career and started his training with his father and the WWE Performance Center.

Solo Sikoa was raised by professional wrestler Rikishi in America. Solo and his father have origins in American Samoa.

His father, Rikishi, was born into the family of Anoa’i on October 11, 1965, in San Francisco, California. Rikishi’s parents, Vera Fatu and Solofa Fatu, and his siblings, Umaga and Sam Fatu, were supportive of his career.

Though his father’s birth name is Solofa Fatu Jr., he is professionally known as Rikishi and Futu, and is one of the most popular and well-recognized wrestlers in the history of WWE. His wrestling career spanned three decades.

He started his career in 1985 with his cousin brother and formed a tag team named The Samoan Swat Team. They signed a contract with World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rice, and after five years, they joined WWF. The same year he started his career, Rikishi married his wife Talisua Fuavai-Fatu. They have been married for 37 years. In the three decades they have been married, they gave birth to five children: Jimmy Uso, Joseph Fatu, Jey Uso, Thavana Monalisa Fatu, and Jeremiah Peniata Fatu.

Sikoa’s father appeared with his singles character and became one of the most popular wrestlers with his move of Stink face. He joined Independent Circuit after serving for five years with the WWF. He continued his wrestling career for the remaining years and did other management on various groups besides wrestling.

Rikishi made several appearances in the WWE ring with his sons. After the match, he and his two twin sons danced in the ring, the most loved part by the wrestling fans. Furthermore, he was announced as part of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2015.

He has won many champions, including Intercontinental Champion, World Tag Team Champion, and WWE Tag Team Champion.

Solo Sikoa Father Is A Hero In A Comic Book

Solo Sikoa grew up watching his father Rikishi wresting In WWE. 

His father has since retired from his wrestling career and is now a hero in his comic book. Rikishi confirmed his first comic book in collaboration with AnimeHiphop. 

After retiring from his wrestling career, he announced that the media company name AnimeHiphop had created a comic book titled” Kishi And The Island of Dream” with his character. He is currently at the LA comicon at booth 4407 all weekend, signing and selling merch, including his new comic book.

Through his post on social media in February, he expressed his excitement about releasing his comic book and his thanks to all the teams who contributed to making the masterpiece.

In the book, Rikishi has initiated power into the dream portal, which gives him the power to become the island’s guardian and defend his family. He is part of a tribe that protects the old ways in a new generation of tribes.

This book is already out in the summer of 2022 and is available on the official websites of animehiphop, which costs $50 per copy. Sikoa’s father is also a member actor, speaker and pro wrestling trainer.
