Spencer hit eight 3-pointers in a game in the fourth grade. He began hitting home runs at the age of 11. He was so good at basketball that if only Spencer had a height of about 6’7″, Michael might have suggested he quit football and play basketball instead.
However, he had tremendous success on the football field and at quarterback, setting several records and becoming the most well-known quarterback to sign with Oklahoma. As a result, his dad suggested him to pursue his career in football.

Spencer’s dad works as a salesman at Citizens Automobile & Recreation Finance. He graduated from the University Of Arkansas.
Mike coached all of Spencer’s youth sports, including baseball, basketball, and football. He soon understood that his son had the potential to be unique. Mike played various sports and taught Spencer how to do more than throw the football.

Spencer’s sister was placed in the top five of the girls’ junior national championships twice as a member of the Arizona Sky Volleyball Club. She played in all 28 matches and won four of her first five to open the season. His only sibling set the freshman single-season wins record with 17 victories.
