Teofimo and his wife Cynthia welcomed their firstborn kid in the year 2021, after two years of marriage. The American boxer married his long-term girlfriend in 2019.

Junior Lopez was raised by a boxer father who has been in the field of fighting since his childhood. Currently, he is making his appearance in a professional boxing ring with the ring name The Takeover. Teofimo had shown his fighting interest at the age of 6 and started training with his father.

Junior Lopez celebrated his first birthday on November 16, 2022, with his parents. He was the first-born son of the Lopez couple.

The former world champion announced his wife, Cynthia Lopez, was pregnant with their first child through a post on their social media on July 3, 2021.

Teofimo signed a contract with the brand named Bud Light and introduced his new sponsor on November 18, two days after the birth of Junior.

Because of the nature of his career, he goes by weeks without seeing little Lopez. He was reunited with mini-him on August 18 after days apart.

Professional boxer Teofimo is the father of Junior Lopez who has been in the field of athletics since 2016.

He made his professional debut in 2016 after signing a contract with Top Rank. He won his first professional match against Ishwar Siqueiros on November 5, 2016.

He had set a record of 16 consecutive wins since his debut match, and unfortunately, he lost his first match after the arrival of his son. Being a father of a newly born child, he got the responsibility to take care of his wife and child, which might have impacted his training and match.

With his son’s upbringing, he balanced his family time and professional time. He continued his boxing training and won two matches after bearing the loss against George Kambosos Jr.

Throughout his professional career, he had made 19 appearances, winning 18 matches with one loss. Also, he won a unified lightweight world championship and represented Honduras at the Olympics of 2016.
