Brandi Worley is an American convicted murderer from Darlington, Indiana, who killed her two children.
Brandi admittedly killed her son Tyler and daughter Charlee after her husband Jason Worley filed for a divorce.
Jason, a software engineer by profession, had realized his wife’s affair with a neighbor. Although he tried reconciling with Brandi, her repeated infidelity forced him to seek divorce.
Fearing she would lose custody of her kids, Brandi took the unprecedented step of murdering her 7-year-old son and 3-year-old daughter.
Where Is Brandi Worley Now? Prison Sentence And 2022 Update
As of 2022, convicted murderer Brandi Worley is now serving her sentence in Indiana Women’s Prison located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
For killing her two children, Brandi was sentenced to 120 years in prison. She was given a sentence of 55 years in prison for killing her son Tyler and 65 years for the murder of her daughter Charlee.
Meanwhile, Brandi’s ex-husband Jason Worley lives a solitary life in Indiana and continues working as a software engineer. He has vowed never to see or contact his ex-wife again.
Further, there have been no reports of Jason getting remarried again. He seems to be still grieving for his lost children and regrets not being able to save them.

Why Did Brandi Worley Divorce Jason Worley?
Actually, it was not Brandi Worley but Jason Worley who initially filed for divorce.
The couple’s relationship hung by a thread ever since Jason found out about his wife’s affair with a neighbor. He planned on leaving her immediately but was forced to reconcile after Brandi threatened to use his high school suicide attempt as a factor to prove him incompetent in parenting.
The two remained together for about a year when Jason catches Worley cheating on him again. At this point, the software engineer makes up his mind to divorce his cheating wife.
On November 15, 2016, Jason contacted an attorney and filed for divorce claiming Brandi’s infidelity. The next day, Brandi committed the horrific murders of her kids.

Brandi used a Kabar combat knife brought from a Walmart as the murder weapon. On the night of the killings, she asked Jason to sleep on the couch but he refused and chose the basement, instead. Then, Brandi took her 7-year-old son Tyler to Charlee’s room in the pretense of a sleepover.
There, she first murdered Tyler by repeatedly stabbing his neck. The noise of the stabbing woke Charlee but Brandi ordered her to go back to sleep. Once she was done with Tyler, Worley killed her daughter in the same way and also stabbed herself in the neck.
Before committing the murders, Brandi had called her mother to visit the house but hadn’t mentioned her plans of murder. Brandi’s mother was shocked to find her deceased grandchildren and screamed in horror, which eventually woke up Jason.
Brandi’s only motive behind the gruesome murders was to keep her husband from getting custody of their children. She initially pled not guilty to the crime but later changed her plea to guilty.
As for Jason, he still regrets his decision to sleep in the basement on the night of the murder. He believes if he had slept on the couch, he could have save his children or, at least, died with them.
