He was arrested in 2008 after being found in possession of cocaine and ecstasy. The third accusation, heroin possession, was dropped.

Gary was accused of domestic abuse against Nicole Cannizzaro, his then-girlfriend, in 2011.

It was claimed that he broke her nose during Gary and Nicole’s argument. Dourdan was charged with criminal violence and given a three-year restraining order.

In addition, he received a sentence of 52 weeks of counseling. However, his charges were dismissed after completing 20 hours of Narcotics Anonymous. Additionally, he declared bankruptcy in 2021.
