Ernesto Diotallevi does not have a Wikipedia Bio; however, his name is mentioned on the pages.

He came into the limelight after he was involved in the Roberto Calvi case.

On June 18, 1982, Roberto Calvi, nicknamed "God's Banker," was assassinated in London while in control of Banco Ambrosiano, whose principal shareholder was the Vatican Bank.

Ernesto Diotallevi, a Banda della Magliana leader, was charged with Calvi's murder. The trial was anticipated to run up to two years, was held in a specially guarded courtroom in Rome's Rebibbia prison.

The court cleared all five people of murdering Calvi on June 6, 2007.

The term was given by the media and refers to the native neighborhood of some of its members, the Magliana. Ernesto Diotallevi and Francesco Di Carlo, a former Mafia member turned informant, were also accused of involvement in the murder.

On July 19, 2005, Licio Gelli, the grand master of the Propaganda Due or P2 masonic lodge, was formally charged with Calvi's murder by magistrates in Rome and Giuseppe Cal, Ernesto Diotallevi, and two others.
