Maritza Thomas, the wife of Zach Thomas, has been married to the former linebacker for 16 years. The couple is a parent to three children, whom they have kept away from the public limelight.

Maritza Thomas, the wife of Zach Thomas, has a doctorate in Pharmacy degree.
A graduate of Nova Southeastern University, Maritza was never interested in football and that was until she met her husband Zach.
The couple first met at a Roundup Country Western nightclub in Davie for the first time. That night Zach was with his teammate Todd Wade and Thomas was with her friends.

And though Zach did make the first move, the linebacker failed to get the number of his future wife that night. But they were destined to be together as they once again met a few months later in Florida and that time around they clicked and soon started dating.
Maritza came from a conservative Colombian descent household, and her parents weren’t impressed by their daughter’s choice. On the other hand, Maritza’s brothers were excited to see Zach Thomas as their future brother-in-law, and one of her brothers said Zach was his favorite player.
After two years of dating, Zach popped the big question to Maritza in 2005 at the St. Maarten beach, where he got down on one knee, but the linebacker didn’t dare to do so before asking his father-in-law’s permission, who, at the time, was a New York Jets fan.

The couple tied the knot a year later in 2006 and are now parents to three lovely children who keep them on their toes. Zach even said in an interview with Miami Herald that his father-in-law is now a Miami Dolphins fan.

Christian Thomas, age 12, is the oldest child of Zach and Maritza Thomas. Christian is the couple’s only son, and in an interview, Zach revealed that his son is interested in soccer.
Zach said it had become his daily routine to drop off his son at his soccer practice game on time. The couple welcomed Christian to their family the year Zach retired from the NFL in 2009.
2. Valentina Thomas
Valentina Thomas, age 10, is the middle of the Thomas family, And like her older brother, Valentina is interested in playing soccer. While Miami Herald was interviewing their father, Valentina and Christian were enjoying playing a game of soccer.

Sienna Thomas is the youngest Thomas family member. Sienna, age 6, was born in 2015. There isn’t much-known information about Sienna and her interest, as her parents have chosen to live away from the public spotlight.
Sienna is probably in grade 1, wracking her head learning adding and subtraction and learning the names of various shapes.
