Tua Tagovailoa ‘s wife Annah Gore is a native of North Carolina. Annah was born on June 11, 1999. 

She grew up with two brothers, Garrison and Ayden, and two sisters, Ally and Grace. She appears to be of Caucasian ancestry, and her family is Christian. Annah studied at the University of Alabama.

Tua Tagovailoa and his wife Annah Gore secretly married in Davie, Florida, on July 18, 2022. They wanted to keep their marriage secret until they were ready to announce it publicly because it had only been a few months since their wedding.

Everyone was shocked to learn of his marriage, especially his fans, because the player had never previously made his girlfriend’s information public.

The quarterback player had never before mentioned Annah on social media, and the first time she was seen was when the news of their marriage leaked.

Ten days after his wedding, the football player reported to Dolphins training camp and was greeted by the media. The footballer expressed his dissatisfaction with everyone knowing he was married.

Tagovailoa thanked everyone for their congratulations on his marriage and said he had no idea who had leaked the news but that whoever it was must have been camped outside the courthouse for a week or something.

Tua Tagovailoa was born to his parents, mother Diane Tagovailoa, and father Galu Tagovailoa on Ewa Beach, Hawaii.

He has a brother Taulia who plays for Alabama, and two sisters named Taylor and Taysia. More members of Tua’s family are involved in sports. His father played powerlifting and self-taught football coaching.

Galu trained Tua to use his left hand even though he is natively right-handed because he is the only left-handed person in his family.

Tua is also called after father Galu’s brother, who goes by the name Tuanigamanuolepola. He was given the name in honor of an uncle who loved athletics and once reputedly weighed 500 pounds.

Although Tagovailoa was born and reared in Hawaii, he is of Samoan origin rather than Hawaiian. Despite coming from American Samoa, 2,566 miles south of the Hawaiian islands, his mother, Diane Tagovailoa, was also reared in Hawaii.

Galu Tagovailoa was also born there but migrated to Hawaii when he was three. Tua Tagovailoa, the oldest of four children, was raised by Galu and Diane Tagovailoa in the tradition and culture of Samoa.

Tua Tagovailoa’s younger brother Taulia Tagovailoa is an American football quarterback for the Maryland Terrapins. 

He shares the school record for touchdowns and holds the single-season completions, passing yards, and shared yards marks at Maryland. He backed up his older brother Tua Tagovailoa and Mac Jones during his first year at Alabama in 2019.

In the season opener against Duke, he played for the first time in college but did not get any numbers. Tagovailoa announced that he would move to the University of Maryland on May 15, 2020. 

Except for the final game against Rutgers, he started all four games in which he participated. He won over Penn State and Minnesota while guiding Maryland to a 2-2 record in its four games.

In 2021, Tagovailoa made his way back to Maryland as the starting quarterback for the team. He started all 13 games and once more received All-Big Ten Honorable Mention.

Tua Tagovailoa was said to have developed a strong passion for football, with his parents remarking that as a child, he used to sleep with a football under his arm every night.

When he was eight years old and playing in Pop Warner games, his peers could usually only throw a football about 10 yards, but he regularly completed passes of more than 30 yards.

When Tagovailoa began playing varsity football in high school, he had 2,583 passing yards and 33 throwing touchdowns in his first season. He also had three interceptions. Tagovailoa mentioned his father’s use of a belt as a significant source of inspiration and motivation.

During his regular season, he passed for 2,669 yards, 27 passing touchdowns, and seven interceptions while competing in the All-American Bowl in 2016.

As one of the known high school quarterbacks in the country, he was also picked to be a member of the Elite 11 roster, where he was given the title of team MVP.

He went to Saint Louis School in Honolulu, the same institution as quarterback Marcus Mariota, the 2014 Heisman Trophy winner, and Atlanta Falcons, who was a mentor to him when they were young in Hawaii. Before attending the University of Alabama in January 2017, he had 17 scholarship offers to play college football.

Tagovailoa started his career as a backup to Dolphins quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and served as Miami’s primary starter beginning with the 2021 season.

Along with Hall of Famers Dan Marino and Bob Griese, his six touchdown performances tied a franchise mark for the Dolphins, and his 469 throwing yards placed him fourth in the team’s annals.

Tagovailoa won the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award for Week 2 in 2022 due to his performance. The NFLPA indicated that they would investigate the game because they believed the Dolphins may have broken concussion protocol by allowing Tagovailoa to play again.

The quarterback was given the all-clear to start against the Cincinnati Bengals after being a game-time decision for Week 4’s Football.
