He was a bright young player in the Bordeaux system, but he only got sporadic playing time. 

He made his debut in the Bordeaux B team in 2017 and played 16 matches. A year later, Tchouaméni made his way onto the first team, making a debut in the Bordeaux Europa League game on July 26, 2018.

Left the Comfort Zone For A New Challenge At AS Monaco

 In January 2020,  he left his boyhood club, and AS Monaco aboard him. But the woes continued as he failed to impact the club drastically. In 74 matches he capped over two seasons, Tchouaméni netted five goals.

The first season at Monaco was not a good time to remember, but the second season was intriguing, and he showcased his class that impressed the French national coach Deschamps and called him for the chance to sign in the national kit in 2021.
