1. Benjamin Millepied founded the L.A. Dance Project

In 2011, choreographer Benjamin Millepied founded the L.A. Dance Project in partnership with Nicholas Britell, Nico Muhly, Charles Fabius and Matthieu Humery. Benjamin established a residence for the L.A. Dance Project in 2012 at the Los Angeles Theatre Center. The main aim of the project was to do new works all over Los Angeles and its inaugural performance was spearheaded by The Music Center on 22 September 2012 held at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
