Bernard Cribbins reportedly died of an illness as per unconfirmed sources on the internet.
Moreover, the actor was diagnosed with prostate cancer back in 2009. He had undergone effective treatment for it and often said he was in perfect condition, barring his back pain.
His agent confirmed the death on Twitter. He wrote, “Beloved actor Bernard Cribbins OBE has passed away at the age of 93.”
He added, “His career spanned seven decades with such diverse work ranging from films like The Railway Children and the Carry On series, hit 60’s song Right Said Fred, a notorious guest on ‘Fawlty Towers’ and narrating The Wombles.”
The actor was 93 years old and lived every moment of it entertaining others. May he finds peace in the afterlife.
