Brian McBride Wife Dina McBride Is A Mom To Three Daughters

Brian McBride wife Dina McBride has been married to the former footballer for two decades.

Brian and Dina met through mutual friends when he returned to his hometown, Illinois, after sustaining an injury during one of his games for the national side. The footballer and his future partner quickly hit off, and Brian didn’t waste much time asking Dina out.

There was a point when Brian doubted whether his profession would come in between him and his love life, and though it did, the couple navigated through those times. Having to leave Dina and return to England was tough for Brian, but he somehow managed it while at Preston.

It was a sigh of relief for Brian when he knew he was returning to the States to play for Columbus Crew, and a year later, after his return, the former PL player tied the knot with Dina in February 2002. 

In 2003, Brian and his partner were featured in the 2003 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue for which they posed on the Hudson River in New York City in 2002. The Illustration featured ten more athletes on its cover. 

But the former Manchester United manager, David Moyes, had grown fond of Brian’s exploit in England, so much so that he signed him on loan for Everton in 2003. But this time around, Brian didn’t book a ticket to England, but two as Dina accompanied her husband to the home of soccer.

The couple lived in England for five years before returning to the States in the summer of 2009. While in England, Dina was very inconspicuous about her husband’s profession as she didn’t want to be known as a WAG. 

Dina who is available on Twitter with the username @DMcB20 has tried her best to stay away from the public limelight even when her husband held the position of manager of the US Women’s Team. 

Her Twitter account is filled with family pictures which includes posting sweet tributes to her companion on his birthdays and anniversary and Brian reciprocates the same. The couple in their long marriage have experienced parenthood three times.

All three kids of the soccer-loving family are girls who have followed in the footsteps of their dad becoming athletes in various sports. 

Brian McBride shares three daughters with his spouse Dina McBride. Their oldest is 22 and their youngest is 14 years old.

Ashley-22, Ella-19, and Freya-14 are the three girls continuing the McBride family’s legacy in sports. The two girls, Freya and Ella, have taken the leaf from their dad’s book as they star for their teams.

Brian’s oldest child Ashley McBride, age 22, is a student at the University of Kansas, having previously graduated from Buffalo Grove High School in 2018. 

Ashley was a star cheerleader at Buffalo Grove High School, having won several accolades for her skill. She is available on Twitter with the username @ashleymcbb but has remained inactive since 2017.

Ella McBride

Ella McBride, age 19, is a student at Lock Haven University and a volleyball player.

Ella is available on Instagram with the username @ellamariemcbride and keeps her 1.8k followers updated about her sporty life. 

In 2019, Brian shared a clip from a newspaper that featured Ella and her volleyball team. He shared the post despite Ella’s team facing a loss in the competition. 

Freya McBride

The youngest child of Brian and Dina McBride, Freya McBride, is a soccer player for her school team.

From some of Brian’s old posts, it is clear that Freya has always been interested in soccer, like her dad.

In 2017, Brian shared that his daughter enjoyed playing the Fulham Monopoly game with him and his wife. Besotted with adjectives such as fun, athletic, confident, and leader by her teachers, Freya seems to be succeeding not only on the field but also in classrooms.
