After the pair relocated to Los Angeles to follow his acting career, she became a nurse at Universal Studios.

Connie was evidently well-liked by the “M*A*S*H” actors and crew. In an interview, Mike Farrell said that her death from cancer in 1982 shook them all hard and was one of his saddest recollections from “M*A*S*H.”
