A Southern Africa club names East London Night Club experience a horrible night as 22 people lost their lives at the club.

Up to 22 individuals were discovered dead in a South African nightclub, with "corpses strewn across tables and chairs" following a possible "substance exposure."

According to local media accounts, about two dozen persons were discovered deceased.

According to the South African news site Dispatch Live, a reporter was there at the 'horrific' sight, but the photographs were not fit for publication.

What Happened At East London Night Club?

Twenty-two have been reported dead when a mass killing occurred at East London Night Club.

The cause of the killings is unknown at this time, however, it has been speculated that the clients were either poisoned or that an occurrence occurred that resulted in a huge number of people being hurt and killed in a stampede.

Bodies are sprawled across tables, chairs, and the floor at the tavern, with no evident indications of harm.

Outside, anxious parents and family members plead to be let in while shouting the names of their missing loved ones. Nobody is responding.

A significant number of police cars and ambulances have arrived in the area.

Meanwhile, Twitter users are shocked to hear the heartbreaking news and sending their prayers to the dead souls.

According to initial reports, a stampede occurred inside the tavern, an unusual phenomenon.

Unathi Binqose, a representative for the Department of Roads and Safety, said further information would be released later in the day.

"We don't know if they were poisoned or what happened." The police are on the site, working with forensic experts, to figure out what caused this terrible occurrence."
