Elias Theodorou, a former UFC fighter, passed away at 34. Theodorou was facing stage 4 liver cancer, according to TSN, and only a few were aware of his diagnosis.

In addition to his fighting career, Theodorou was best known for supporting medical use in combat sports.

Theodorou made news in 2018 when he acted as a “ring boy” for an Invicta FC event.

In 2020, the Canadian veteran became the first fighter to acquire a medicinal use exemption for medical cannabis, which was approved by the British Columbia Athletic Commission.
