Meet Eric Greitens Wife Sheena Greitens Amid Abuse & Scandal

Eric Greitens was married to Sheena Greitens in the year 2011. The former first lady of Missouri has already divorced the politician.

Sheena is a political scientist who is an associate professor in the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, at the University of Texas at Austin. She was born in Spokane, Washington to a medical family. Her father is a doctor specializing in insomnia and her mother is an oncologist. Moreover, Greitens has mostly focused her research on East Asia, American National Security, and authoritarian politics and foreign policy.

On January 10, 2018, Eric Greitens had publically announced that he engaged in an affair with his hairstylist. Following this, he and his wife had issued a joint statement to deal with the things privately. They got divorced in 2020.

In March 2020, Sheena Greitens filed an affidavit against him accusing him of physical abuse.

The former governor of Missouri was charged with felony invasion of privacy. Later, he has also blamed for campaign-related offenses. 

Eric Greitens Gun Video Goes Viral On Twitter

US Senate candidate Eric Greitens is now facing criticism after he released a video featuring guns in his campaign.

On June 20, 2022, Greitens was seen in an ad urging his supporters to go “RINO hunting.” The 38-second clip shared on Twitter has gone viral on social media.

Greitens was seen recalling his Navy career and is seen breaking into a house while going what he calls “RINO hunting.” He carried a shotgun and was surrounded by men in US armed forced uniform.

He says in the clip; “The RINO feeds on corruption and is marked by the stripes of cowardice. … There’s no bagging limit, no tagging limit, and it doesn’t expire until we save our country,”

The clip has received negative feedback as the video has implied that he is hunting members of his own party. Also, it has been deemed controversial as it encourages people to use guns in order to kill. 

In additional context, Greitens’ ex-wife also accused him of buying a gun and hiding it from her. According to her, the politician had threatened to shoot himself if she did not publicly support him.
