Goran Gogic, age 43, an ex-boxer, does not have a Wikipedia page credited to him. However, the Montenegrin boxer had seen quite a bit of success in the boxing ring in his 12 years as a professional player.

Goran retired from boxing in 2012 but made headlines on November 1, 2022, as he was charged with trafficking 22 tons of cocaine at Miami International Airport while he planned to travel to Zurich.

With a promising boxing career that began in 2001, Gogic won 24 bouts, lost four, and drew two in 27 matches. With his boxing career never taking off, Gogic probably thought that drug trafficking could lead him to a better life with the huge amount of money involved.

Goran Gogic Net Worth 2022

As of 2022, Goran Gogic has a net worth of $1.5 million. It is sad to say that though he is a former athlete, much of his net worth stems from the illegal drug trafficking he has been doing in the past several years.

On Monday, the former heavyweight boxer was charged by a grand jury in New York as he tried to traffic $1 billion worth of cocaine into the US. The 22 tons of cocaine were found in cargo ships in 2019 docked at Philadelphia’s Packer Avenue Marine Terminal.

Compared to many other professional boxers from countries like the US and the UK, Montenegrin boxers have a net worth only in six figures. The highest-ranked Montenegrin boxer, Dejan Zlaticanin, has a net worth of $400,00, which is measly compared to the English boxer Anthony Joshua, who has a net worth of $80 million.

But having a weak net worth or not being paid equally compared to your compatriots should not let a boxer go down the line of living as a delinquent.
