Graeme Dott Wife Elaine Dott Is A Health Worker In Scotland

Graeme Dott wife Elaine Dott is the daughter of the late trainer of Dott Alex Lambie.

Speaking to Glasgowlive, Elaine opened up about her obesity problem. Being a health personnel, she felt like a hypocrite to suggest others live healthy lives while she wasn't following it herself.

Elaine started to focus on her weight and look after a fellow colleague who body-shamed her in front of everyone by commenting on her tight dress.

The mother of two kids joined WW and invested in Fitbit to lose weight and was successful. From being 13st 7lb, she went to 10st 11lbs – 1.5lbs after a complete 180 turn on her diet and lifestyle.

She now prides herself in being a "yummy mummy," as reported by DailyRecord.

Elaine is also a school immunization nurse, and her being a healthy and fit example has given her confidence and motivation to suggest others a similar lifestyle as well.

Graeme Dott and his partner Elaine Dott began dating in 1997. Graeme met the love of his life when he started to train under her father.

Dott was 20, and Elaine was just 16 when they started their relationship. The love birds dated for six years before taking their relationship to the next level. After acceptance and blessing of Alex, the two got married in 2003.

Elaine gave birth the very next year to their first child, a son named Lewis Dott. Their second child, a daughter named Lucy Dott, was born in 2008.

The middle phase between the two kids was rough for the amazing couple. In 2006, Elaine's father was diagnosed with terminal kidney cancer. Not long after, he passed away in December same year.

The trying time was yet lingering around the Dott household. Just weeks after the sad demise of coach Alex, Elaine suffered a miscarriage after the doctors suspected she had ovarian cancer. Thankfully, it was just a scare.

Due to all this haphazard around his life, Dott himself went into depression and was in a state of not being able to play anymore. Elaine stood by his side firmly and supported him all the way. She suggested him to a therapist and stood like a rock beside him until he recovered fully.

Graeme and Elaine reside with their two beautiful kids in Scotland, United Kingdom.
