'Greasy Or Wet' What Does Brandon Marsh Put In His Hair?

Brandon Marsh's hair is so greasy that it always appears soaked in wet. Marsh once stated that he washes his head with water in between innings since he like wet hair.  

He claimed that when things are allowed to dry, they become bristly which he finds irritating. He prefers to keep it damp, but not in the way that looks after a recent wash.

His choice of styling is not unique, many athletes appear to be constantly wet. The baseball player wet his hair at least 15 times every day.

Marsh hasn't had a haircut since going to the City of Brotherly Love; his most recent cut was during the All-Star break, a few weeks before his trade to Philadelphia. He has added exceptional center-field defense, a quick rush of speed on the basepaths, and the occasional huge blast.

He Uses Shampoo Once A Month

Brandon Marsh's hair always seems to be wet on the field because he maintains it wet. Marsh doesn't like shampoo much, yet he keeps his hair wet on the field.

He revealed to Fox Sports that he doesn't feel the need to wash his hair all that frequently. Marsh doesn't make a big deal out of shampooing his hair once a month either.

The outfielder doesn't use any additional cosmetics, so his shoulder-length hair doesn't receive any gel, creams, or conditioners. Even though he has a unique hair care routine, his teammates don't seem to mind.

Brandon was born to his parents, his mother Sonja Marsh, and his father Jake Marsh in Buford, Georgia. Marsh has a close relationship with his younger sister Erin Marsh.

At Buford High School, Marsh participated in multiple sports and batted.370 with 15 runs batted in during his junior baseball season (RBI).

He managed Buford to a Georgia High School Association state championship victory alongside teammate Joey Bart, a future Major League Baseball (MLB) catcher. Marsh family has become well-known in Philadelphia.

He has spent the entire season on the point of realizing his lifelong dream of playing in the major leagues.

His Father Passed Away Battling From Cancer

Brandon Marsh's father Jake Marsh received a diagnosis of throat and tongue cancer in 2017. Approximately a year after beating the disease, cancer resurfaced in his kidneys. It covered his entire body, even his head.

Jake flew from Atlanta to Phoenix in March 2021 to see Brandon perform live for the final time. Traveling was challenging because he was in a wheelchair. But he was present for the final spring training game.

Since Jake was aware of his limited time, he made the most of it. They interacted for many hours about baseball life, Brandon's aspirations, and both. His father expressed his pride in him. In April, almost a month later, he passed away.

Brandon's Sister Erin Marsh Is Track And Field Athlete

Brandon Marsh's younger sister participates in track and field with the Duke Blue Devils. In college competition, she has won two bronze medals, the heptathlon at the 2022 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships and the pentathlon at the 2021 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Brandon Marsh has a net worth of $1 million, his annual salary is $710,000. Marsh joined a group of corner outfielders on the Angels' Opening Day roster in 2022, but he was dealt to the Philadelphia Phillies.

He was chosen by the Los Angeles Angels in the second round of the 2016 MLB Draft, 60th overall, out of high school. He had already decided to join the Kennesaw State Owls' baseball team in college.

Marsh first told the media that he wouldn't sign with the team, but in the end, he decided to sacrifice his college plans in favor of a $1.07 million signing bonus with the Los Angeles Angels to start his professional baseball career.

Career Earning

Marsh injured his left elbow when trying to make a catch in center field during the Angels' 2020 spring training, leading to a Grade 2 strain.

When the COVID-19 pandemic took hold, all MLB and minor league operations had been suspended by the time he was given the all-clear to play baseball. The Major League Baseball season was ultimately resumed while the full 2020 Minor League Baseball season was delayed.

High-ranked players, including Marsh, were consequently assigned to different training facilities to complete their development while awaiting prospective big league promotions.

During the 2020 campaign, Marsh experienced a glenoid labrum injury, which he worsened in the offseason. Due to the injury, Marsh's spring conditioning was postponed, and his season debut didn't occur until May 13 when he joined the Triple-A Salt Lake Bees of the Pacific Coast League.

Brandon Marsh was transferred to Los Angeles on July 18, 2021, where he started his MLB debut in center field. While Los Angeles' game against the Oakland Athletics ended in a loss, he collected his first three major league hits and added an RBI on a double in the ninth inning.

The next week, while the Angels were playing the Baltimore Orioles, he hit his first home run in the major league off of Marcos Diplan. Baltimore defeated the Angels despite Marsh scoring three runs on the play.

Marsh had trouble right away after being called up, batting just.155 in his first 24 major league contests. His performance increased throughout the season, hitting.297 in his final 46 games. He performed 93 games for Los Angeles in 2022, batting.226 with eight home runs and 37 RBI during that time.
