Alycia was born on 24 May 1994 in Fremont, Ohio, USA, as one of five children of her mother, Sherry Guzman, and father, who is anonymous.

She had a difficult childhood as there wanted a father figure in her life while growing up as it is believed that her father was not present with the family. Despite having a negligent father, she eventually had a devoted guardian in the shape of her stepfather. In 1995, her mother wed Mario Guzman, Mexican-American personnel.

Alycia’s father may have been divorced by Sherry when she was just a year old. Alycia claimed on social media a few years ago that she had not seen her father in 22 years, suggesting that she had likely been reared her whole life by her stepfather. Despite not being related by blood, Mario ensured Alycia fulfilled every need she required during her training.

She was a workaholic since childhood and also discovered her passion for the sport at an early age. Initially, she participated in local tournaments where she bossed her every fight giving a very minimal chance for her opponent to succeed. Alycia recently won against Mikaela Mayer, a longstanding competitor, in a tough match last night at the O2 Arena, thanks to her perseverance and commitment. With the win, Alycia broke Mayers’ 17-match winning run and claimed the title of undisputed super-featherweight world champion.

This was a tough match record-wise, as  Alycia had entered the battle after four years without suffering a defeat. Alycia won the contentious battle with a score of 96-95 against Mayer on the votes of two judges and 97-93 from the third.

Baumgardner is among the highest-earning female boxers, and her net worth this year is around $500,000.

She is paid well for other efforts in the ring, and her popularity benefits her as more viewers will tune up to watch a fearless and famous fighter rather than some anonymous fighter. Baumgardner began boxing when he was eight years old. At age five, she was a wrestler, and her stepfather introduced her to boxing. She was a National PAL champion and a Ringside World Champion throughout her 165-fight amateur career. On March 4, 2017, she stopped Britain Hart in the first round to become a professional.
