Angela Yee has tweeted that the Breakfast Club is over, at least in its present incarnation.
The radio host announced the news to her followers on Twitter. On Tuesday evening, August 9, 2022, she wrote:’The breakfast club, as you know, is officially over.’
Before the tweet, about 15 minutes ago, the presenter also wrote: ‘GOD is good!’ signaling that something might have happened at the station. Nevertheless, Yee’s co-hosts, Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, are yet to discuss the topic.

The Breakfast Club started in 2010 and quickly became an institution for hip-hop and music. It used to air every Tuesday, featuring all three popular hosts.
The show has brought prominent artists like JAY-Z, Kanye West, J. Cole, and Kendrick Lamar to historical figures like Minister Farrakhan and President Obama. Its’ recent episode featured rapper Royce da 5’9″ and actress Courtney Bell.
It was announced that The Breakfast Club would be inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame two years ago this month.
In August 2020, Yee tweeted her joy: ‘What an achievement. And a massive thanks to everyone who sustains us and is a part of our family by listening to us in the morning for this honor!’

Rumors suggest that Angela Yee is pregnant following the Breakfast Club’s closure. However, this is hardly a realistic assumption, as the show would not have ended due to a host taking maternity leave alone.
