Cedric Fourie could be leaving the SABC 1 daily drama series to join etv's Durban Gen, new developments have emerged. He seems to have already moved from the City of Gold to Durban for his role. He is going o play a skilled surgeon who walks into Durban General, bringing mystery and intrigue to the wards. 

He might be playing both roles going forward as he has not confirmed if he is leaving Skeem Saam. Durban Gen has not been doing well in numbers since its start, so it might be one of the attempts to bring his fans to the show.
