No, Jeremy Vine is not ill. The host is probably in the best shape of his life, alive and kicking all the cylinders. He has been very active on social media, especially on Tiktok and Twitter. 

However, Vine fell off his penny-farthing bicycle 8 feet (2.4 meters) onto the ground in February 2022 and was blacked out for a minute or so. People immediately rushed him to Charing Cross Hospital; he was informed by medical staff that his only injuries were a black eye and some post-fall discomfort.
