As aforementioned, Ken Dilanian’s father was Ken Dilanian Sr., battling a rare form of blood cancer called myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).

While Ken’s father was initially given the time of just three years to live, he lived for 12 years, watching his grandkids grow. He was a member of the Eisenhower Administration.

Before leaving this world, Ken left his last piece of advice to his grandchildren where he said- “Talk is cheap, take responsibility for your actions and be there for each other.”

Similarly, the name of Ken’s mother is Barbara Dilanian; nevertheless, he has not shared any further information about her. Ken also has a young sister, Jane Dilanian.

Ken Dilanian is married to Catherine Yoon. The lovely couple exchanged their wedding bond on May 3, 2003, and share two kids, Maxwell and Kenneth III.

Yoon belongs to Korean descent and is employed as an Administrative Assistant at Crowdstrike. She graduated in 1998 from Bryn Mawr College, holding a degree in English literature and East Asian Studies.

Ken Dilanian does not have a Wikipedia page as of this writing. He is a Massachusetts native who graduated with a political science and history degree from Williams College in 1991.

Born on May 13, 1968, the father of two, Dilanian, is 54. He is a recipient of the prestigious Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism.

With over two decades of experience in the journalism sector, he began his career in January 1997 as a Rome Correspondent for The Philadelphia Inquirer. He worked for ten years in this newspaper company as an investigative and political reporter, bringing him the prior mentioned Casey Medal. 

Following the Philadelphia Inquirer, Ken joined USA Today, working as a State Department Correspondent for three years, before moving to Los Angeles Times in April 2010.
