Engbino started her career at ‘Skin and Skinner, where she worked as a beauty consultant. She calls herself the future ‘Nurse Injector’ on her Instagram with the handle @jovinicolefitness. As of 2022, she has amassed a total of 29.5 thousand followers.

However, after a year, it was revealed that Teo’s girlfriend, Lennay Kekua, was not real. She was a Facebook creation of the linebacker.
Teo had purported that he met the Stanford student, Kekua via a dating site. He said she was of Samoan ancestry and from Seattle.

As his fake story was uncovered, Teo became a global meme on the Internet. He was painted as a fool who was faking the death of his unreal girlfriend. Eventually, he ruined his promising career and homosexual rumor began to circulate.
In 2013, the NFL linebacker was questioned about his sexual orientation in an interview with Katie Couric.
Katie had asked him: “Are you gay?” to which Teo said: “No, far from it. Far from it.”
Teo became more insistent as he asserted that he is heterosexual. Up until that moment, he had calmly responded to inquiries and said he was dumb and naive instead.
