Jailene Holton, a 21-year-old woman was killed on Tuesday night after a customer opened fire after being thrown out of a bar in Northeast Philadelphia.
An angry customer who was booted out of the bar opened fire from hundreds of feet away, killing a young woman who was out with friends. This incident is just the latest instance of deadly gun violence in Philadelphia.
Just after 11:30 p.m., the other patron of the Philly Bar And Restaurant and bar shot at least 15 times, killing the 21-year-old lady in Northeast Philadelphia. She was shot in the head.
Her father and other family members recognized her as Jailene Holton. She allegedly took part in a friend reunion when she was shot. After being moved to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital for surgery, she passed away.

Jailene Holton was a 21-year-old young woman who was shot dead inside a Northeast Philly bar by a customer who had been forced to leave, firing at least 15 bullets into the building on Tuesday.
After visiting Top Golf with a friend from New Jersey, Jailene was at the Philly Bar and Restaurant in the 2400 block of Welsh Road, according to her uncle James Holton, who spoke to FOX29. She was the designated driver for the event.
One of the three males who had been expelled from the bar at around 11:30 p.m. due to an argument over a game of pool shot Holton in the head.

Jailene’s uncle claims that she was just finishing up a night out with friends when, suddenly, she was going to become the latest victim of gun violence in the city while she was an innocent spectator.

The suspected shooter who killed Jailene Holton and the other two males fled the area in a dark pickup truck. No one has been detained. Police have reportedly spoken with witnesses and are looking into security footage of the event, 6ABC reports.
The other two individuals who were expelled, according to the detectives, were not engaged in the shooting. According to NBC Philadelphia, first responders discovered the woman bleeding and lifeless on the bar’s floor. Holton was not the intended target.

When the bullets were fired, there were roughly 20 individuals in the bar. A second patron inside the bar, a 30-year-old man, was also brought to the hospital after being struck in the face by the shattered glass during the shooting.
