Jermall Charlo wife Shantel Charlo is a certified esthetician and fashion enthusiast.

Charlo's former wife is a certified esthetician specializing in Microdermabrasion, Dermaplaning, and Acne Facials. She runs her business with skinbyshantel and likes to take online bookings. Her parlor is based in Missouri City.

Shantel and Jermall met during their high school days at Alief Hastings High School in Houston. In an interview with Showtime Sports, Shantel stated that Jermall came into her life at the perfect time.

She said: "I was going through a tough time at home like my mom was gone. I was taking care of myself, my brother, and me, and I needed help, and he just walked into my life at the perfect time. He saved me."

Moreover, Shantel admits that Jermall has inspired her throughout her life and assisted in her development. She describes how the former WBC middleweight champion has worked hard and dedicatedly to become who he is today because he has always known what he wanted to do.

"Today, I celebrate 12 years of life with my firstborn son. As you grow into your teenage years, I pray that you remember that hard work only pays off when you put in work, and shortcuts will only produce shortcomings. Stay gracious, humble, and always put God first."

Shantel Charlo said in a video uploaded on her Instagram stories that Jermall had jailed her because he couldn't pay for his residence.

She said: "For all his fans, Jermall never fighting again. This house is going to get bankrupt. Whatever. They're going to foreclose this because he can't afford to pay. That's how stupid he is."

In August 2022, Shantel Charlo revealed Jermall Charlo's actions in imprisoning her and filing charges against his wife of seven years. She was taken into custody for assault and causing bodily harm and was released on a $750 bond.

Recent social media posts by Shantel indicate that things between her and Jermall are not going well. Fans have noticed that Charlo's wedding ring is missing as well. 

The Esthetician posted a photo of her with her kids on thanksgiving day. She hinted about being thankful for whatever had happened to her. In her caption, she wrote: "Beyond Thankful. Sending love, happiness, and gratitude your way. Happy Thanksgiving."
