Accoridng to a Report on sec.gov, Laurinaitis was offered the job as the Head of Talent Relations in 2001. Initially, he proposed USD 350,000 as a base salary, which the executive received bi-weekly.

His pay increased as the year passed, and WWE was doing great business between 2010 and 2015. The company re-hired Laurinaitis in March 2021. This time his salary got increased. Although his specific remuneration is unknown, the average US WWE Senior Executive salary earns more than USD 400,000.

John Laurinaitis won numerous championships throughout his wrestling career, significantly boosting his profits.

He is a former one-time OWF Heavyweight Champion and two times ICWA Florida Heavyweight Champion. In addition, he has won many tag team championships.

John Laurinaitis Officially Fired By WWE

Wrestling executive John Laurinaitis had already lost his job in June 2022. He was dismissed from his post and substituted by Bruce Prichard.

His future with the company had been in doubt since The Wall Street Journal Report. In the news, he and Vince engaged in inappropriate behavior with the employees. 

The longtime serving executive was also caught up in a report alleging Vince McMahon paid hush money to former employees. The report claimed that Vince paid around $3 million to a former employee to keep an affair quiet.

Following this, the WWE board began investigating nondisclosure agreements related to misconduct claims by women. They quickly put John on administrative leave naming Triple H as the new Head of Talent Relations.

The board investigation began in April 2022 and did not immediately announce Laurinaitis’s termination. They officially removed him on Monday, August 8, 2022.
