Bodurka began her career in media after graduating from Seneca College. In 2003, she began working for Chex TV as a Community Bulletin Host for the Discover Durham program.
She worked in the United States of America in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, without restricting her abilities to Canada.
Kasia spent one year and four months working at Cruise Line Media Production in 2015 as a travel and brand TV host and live presenter.

It's only been two months, so Kasia is focusing more on her family now, a new adventure she was talking about. But she does have plans for the future. Bodurka wants to work as a Travel Brand TV Host and Live Presenter, mostly on her own projects.

There was no real reason behind her leaving Global News Vancouver after all these years, but wanting to try something new. The reporters and meteorologists in the network are dearly missing her as they pay tribute to the evergreen Kasia on social media.
Kasia has had over 20 years of experience in journalism and over 12 years in weather reporting and forecasting. She has documented her professional journey on LinkedIn.
After working for almost seven years at Rogers Tv, she followed her passion for weather reporting on The Weather Network in 2011, where she started working as a national anchor and reporter. Afterward, she was a full-time weather reporter in Canada and for multiple networks over the years.
She joined Global News BC in 2017, and after working for over five years, Bodurka has left the job and diverted herself toward personal projects.
