Katie Porter Political Views On Abortion, Reddit and Twitter Reacts

Politician Katie Porter thinks that the decision to overturn Roe v. Wade is a "bitter pill to swallow".

Recently, the Supreme Court took away the constitutional rights and trampled on the will of many people. Porter then covered how Congress intended to respond to the Republican plan to outlaw abortion nationally on June 25, 2022.

Porter wants to protect other rights that may be at the risk. 

The politician said in an interview with MSNBC, “When Republicans tell you what they’re going to do, LISTEN… They’re telling us now: They’re going to have a nationwide ban on abortion, and it is up to us in 2022 to stop them [and] protect our healthcare.”

Most social media have agreed with Katie Porter's views on abortion.

Meanwhile, some have also gone against Porter's views. @Jaypop1201 says: "Katie Porter is stretching it a bit If people need abortions because of exorbitant gas prices, perhaps we should end every attempt to go green."

According to Ballotpedia, her base salary is $174,000. She was last elected on November 3, 2020.

Politician Katie Porter was married to Matthew Hoffman from 2003 to 2013. Her former spouse is best known as the narrator of Love Island. She has three children from her marriage.

In the recent Father's Day celebration, Porter had provided a tribute to her late father, Dan Porter. Her dad worked as a third-generation farmer-turner banker. On the other hand, her mom, Liz Porter, is the former host of “Fons & Porter’s Love of Quilting."

She admitted that she was not an easy kid to her parents and had a cheeky attitude.
