What Happened To Kelly Boudreaux, 23? Missing Teen Boyfriend David Boudreaux

Henson admitted to Holbert that the 25 months she endured as she awaited word of her daughter were agonizing.

Bordeaux’s brother was also present in court, and after repeatedly losing it, he was led outside by deputies. Johnna Henson, Bordeaux’s mother, spoke after the apology and became irritated when Holbert didn’t look at her.

What Happened To Kelly Boudreaux, 23?

Bordeaux had divorced her husband in April 2012 and was dating a man from her native Florida when they met Holbert at Froggy Bottoms, according to Cumberland County District Attorney Billy West in court.

After her boyfriend left for Florida, she and Holbert headed to the bar for an evening of drinking, karaoke, and pool.

According to West, Bordeaux learned about Holbert’s status as a registered sex offender sometime in the evening. Holbert asked Bordeaux if they could spend more time together as they left the bar in the early hours of April 14, 2012, and Bordeaux rejected him with a “derogatory comment about him being a sex offender,” West claimed.

According to West, she was knocked out by a punch from Holbert, who then carried her to his car and drove her to his improvised camp behind the bar. When Bordeaux regained consciousness, she began to scream. According to the prosecutor, Holbert “hit her until she stopped shouting, stopped moving.”

The following day, Holbert buried Bordeaux after driving into the woods close to Eastover.

Because he was the last person to be seen with Bordeaux, authorities questioned Holbert several times after she vanished, but he swore he dropped Bordeaux off at her apartment complex that night and didn’t know what occurred after that.

West claims Holbert was incarcerated for a chunk of 2012 and 2013 because he disregarded his obligations as a registered sex offender. Although some other prisoners claimed he made damning remarks regarding Bordeaux’s disappearance, authorities still lacked sufficient evidence to bring charges against him, according to West.

David Marshburn, a Smithfield private eye investigating the Bordeaux case independently, became friends with Holbert in late 2013, and a few months later, Holbert took Marshburn to Bordeaux’s shallow grave.

Defense counsel W. David Smith Jr. stated in court on Friday, “This is a horrible scenario. When Bordeaux remarked that Holbert was a sex offender, Smith said that Holbert was intoxicated and simply “snapped.”

“He disregarded his character. He ignored his common sense, “said he. Holbert frequently considered coming out and confessing during the extensive searches for Bordeaux after her disappearance, Smith claimed, but ultimately “lost the courage to do so because he recognized what he was going to have to face.”

Was Kelly Boudreaux found?

Family members and fellow troops of Bordeaux are hoping she is still alive.

In her hometown of St. Cloud, Florida, Bordeaux was laid to rest at Mount Peace Cemetery on May 31, 2014, with full military honors.

Nick Holbert had guided private investigator David Marshburn and his cadaver dog to the location of Kelli Bordeaux’s body after burying it there.

So, Marshburn explained, “we do a little digging and find fragments of the garment. We start digging once more and discover the leg bone. We dig one more, and we find the entire jacket. When we take the jacket and pull the entire jacket back, she is characterized as having the bag on her head and doing the whole nine yards.

The night Bordeaux was killed, Holbert, a known sexual offender, admitted to Marshburn that he had offered Bordeaux a lift home. Holbert worked part-time there while also residing in the woods behind the pub.

Holbert said, “I’m guessing you and your family don’t want to hear anything I have to say. Johnna Henson, Kelli’s mother, insisted he pays attention to her instead.

Henson told Holbert, “I don’t see how you could take a lovely young girl for almost no reason and beat her.
